Welcome to Full Passport Family! Back in my mid-20s, I found myself stuck in Uganda with a passport that was completely full of stamps and visas. After a slightly frantic visit to the embassy, I managed to get it sorted out, but the thrill of that adventure, and many others across the globe, sparked a lifelong love of travel.

Now, with two young kids in tow, our passports (and lives) are filling up again as we navigate moving overseas to Central Africa; we’ll be exploring new places, learning about people and cultures, and embracing the wild, wonderful world of the foreign service. This blog captures our family’s journey—the rollercoaster of parenting abroad, the unpredictable adventures, and the moments of joy, challenge, and discovery that define our “full passport” life.
